Prashant Kapadia, O.D., is an optometrist at Eye Clinics of Michigan, serving patients in Wayne, MI. He has a special interest in dry eye, diabetic eye care, and pre and post operative care.
Although a longtime Michigan resident, Dr. Kapadia began his education at the University of Toronto where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry with honors, at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. With clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and Hudson Valley Health Care VA in New York, Dr. Kapadia brings a vast experience to the Eye Clinics of Michigan.
Dr. Kapadia utilizes the most current technology and imaging available today in diagnosing and managing ocular disease. Dr. Kapadia is a community advocate and has participated in a number of programs and visual screenings to promote health and wellness over the years. He is a devoted provider and frequently mentor’s staff, students and resident physicians. Aside from taking care of patients, Dr. Kapadia enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, going to local music concerts and playing the guitar.
