Kamal Gupta, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Eye Clinics of Michigan, serving patients in Brownstown, MI. He specializes in retinal diseases.
Dr. Gupta was born in Kenya and educated in England. He is a graduate of Queen’s Medical Center in Nottingham and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Surgeons. Dr. Gupta moved to the United States in 1986 where he continued his education at State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York, and completed an additional fellowship in retina from New York University.
Dr. Gupta moved from New York to Michigan in 1990 to be close to his family and join an ophthalmic practice in Southfield. He opened his own private practice in 1993 and currently has two clinic locations; Brownstown and Wayne, MI.
Dr. Gupta is a clinical instructor for Beaumont Hospital. He is also certified by the State of Michigan to instruct Optometrists and is a featured lecturer for the American Diabetes Association.
